With D-DAY MEMORY TOUR, you will experience an unforgettable adventure. Immersed in the heart of Normandy, in the region of Sainte-Mere-Eglise, you will travel back in time during the liberation of Europe in the summer of 1944. Equipped with the same uniforms as the American soldiers wore the day they landed on the coast of France, you will re-live their amazing journey using only the supplies they were given. Your platoon will travel by Jeep, the very same Jeeps that were used during the war and technical support will be present at all times.
You will have the assistance of a history expert to guide you through the different villages and museums. This unique experience requires members to be both physically and mentally prepared to adapt to similar unpredictable situations the soldiers encountered in 1944. At certain times during this trip a full immersion has been planned to help the participants fully understand history. Visits to an exceptional museum will also be part of this unique trek. To assure a full immersion in this extraordinary time, a guide or “Platoon leader” will guide you and your group to different places. At other times, you will have to navigate by yourself using the same materials and map of the time.
From the time, you register to your actual departure, you will receive many pieces of information explaining your mission. Just like the young soldiers enlisted in this war, you will experience their preparation as it was your own piece of history. This exclusive trip is not intended to be a “war-game” or a game of paintball. You will use the same roads and walk the same grounds the soldiers walked on in 1944 where courageous and selfless men shed their blood and lost their lives in the name of freedom. You discover the mission that you will perform during your stay in Normandy. Your area of operation will be from Sainte Mere Eglise to Omaha Beach, following the same pathways that were crossed by the 'GI’s' on the D-Day and the week after.
Now it is your turn to feel the same emotions crossing the towns of Carentan, Hiesville, Chef-du-Pont and other historical sites, such as 'La Fiere' bridge spanning the river 'Merderet' or 'Brecourt Manor'.

We are in 1944, this mission includes an extended trip to Bastogne, after having traveled on the roads of Normandy and lived thrills in the Normand bocage, you are back in the civilian life ... Continue your expedition visiting the Canadian and English sectors, the port of Arromanches, GOLD, JUNO and SWORD beaches. After visit to Caen Memorial , you will be driven to the sites of the famous Battle of the Bulge. You will see the hell experienced by men of Commander McAuliffe and his famous reply "Nuts!!!".
As an informed visitor with your experience in Normandy, you will better understand what happened in that place.
This extended trip to Bastogne will give you the desire to return with us on another immersion trip 'the Battle of the Bulge' that we will be proposed for 2018.

Our meeting will take place at the Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG) airport, on Sunday at 11:00. A shuttle will then pick you up and take you to Normandy. The duration of this first relay to the tip is about 3 hours.
A stop is planned for lunch.
Once at your 'barrack' you will receive your equipment; the same equipment that the GI's received before D-Day. Your room will then be assigned. For the remaining of the afternoon you will be free to discover and explore the local area.
Meeting at the 'briefing' room for instructions on the invasion's plan OVERLORD.
Dinner. Fire's out at 22:00.
Wake up and Breakfast.
Departure for material and jeep recovery Assignment of Jeep and Dodge, introduction to the coaching team Drive school for the vehicles on road and off road mode.
Our first mission jeep, we drive along the small pathway, and will avoid as much as possible the routes. Using your compass and your map you will drive by yourself in our convoy to reach the first point of rendez-vous where we will make a stop for a lunch around noon at Sainte-Marie-du-Mont.
During the the afternoon, will drive in our convoy to visit a part of the ATLANTIC WALL and associated sites.
We will come back to our HQ for a debriefing of the day's activities during the dinner and will learn how to pack a parachute. Remember we are in June 1944 somewhere in Normandy...
You will find yourself in the body of a pathfinder of the 101st Airborne 506 PIR, you will drive in two groups to DZ to install the 'EUREKA' system marker. You will be dropped in the dark, in a hostile environment where could be hidden the enemy. The greatest vigilance is required during this operation. The mission accomplished, we will regroup and continue our progression as did the pathfinders on the night of June 5 to 6 to a strategic and historical target.
The marker 'EUREKA' are positioned, our progress will take place in the area where the Screaming Eagle made their first contact with the enemy we will spend the rest of the night in a place close from here.
Wake up and breakfast.
Departure toward the Drop Zone area of the 101st Airborne 506 PIR. The Famous 'Easy Company' lead by the legendary Dick Winter. In this area we will explore the Manor of Brecourt and will learn about the attack against the Germans Battery. We will pass near the General Taylor HQ and the location of the first allies military field hospital in Normandy. We will then depart for the landing beach at Utah.
Lunch at Utah beach Roosevelt restaurant.
we will visit the museum and surrounding area, and if possible take a ride on the beach.
Departure for Sainte-Mere-Eglise, the 82nd Airborne site.
Arrive at accommodations for the night.
Diner at the village 'Chef du Pont'.
Wake up and Breakfast.
We will visit the famous battle sites of the 82nd Airborne led by General Gavin. You will relive the scenes were featured in 'the Longest day'.

- The Bridge of LA FIERE.
- The Gavin position.
- The HQ General FALLEY, and place he was killed.
- The 'Verger de Times'.
We will make a stop for lunch in the village of Sainte-Mere-Eglise.
We will take the opportunity to visit the Airborne Museum and the church where paratroopers landed on the rooftop early on June 6th...You will have some time to stroll through this city that was one of the first town to be liberated on D-DAY.

Back to the HQ 82nd for debreifing.

Wake up and Breakfast.
Departure to Carentan and Saint Come du Mont. On our way we will cross the village named Angoville au Plain, we will make a stop at 'la Barquette', and we resume the road toward Carentan.
Arrive at Carentan for a typical 1944 lunch.
We plan the visit of the Museum 'Dead's Man Corner' and the Dakota simulator, at D-DAY EXPERIENCE.
Depart for Omaha Beach in our convoy. We will drive on road to the sites of landing of the Gi's of the 1st Infantry Division (the famous Big Red One) and the 29th Infantry Division, (know asthe Blue and Grey).
We will arrive at Grand Camp Maisy, where we will have the opportunity to discover one of the last seaworthy 'Higgin's Boat' and enjoy a ride with its owner.
Arrive at our accommodations for the night and Dinner.
Wake up and Breakfast.
Depart for 'La Pointe du HOC', and view damage and the chaos caused by the Navy and Air Force on the morning of June 6 th , we will see the cliffs that Army Rangers, had to scale while under the fire from 200 Germans defending their position.
Depart for Omaha Beach, where we will take a ride on the shore. On the way, we will pass the American Cemetery at Colleville-sur- Mer. We will experience the emotion of the burial place of the 9,387 soldiers.
On our return journey, we will visit the 'OVERLORD Museum'. Opened in 2013 it is the most recent museum dedicated to the D-Day. It displays many realistic dioramas.
It's time to leave for 'Sainte-Mere-Eglise', we will make a stop to see the 'Maisy and Martiniere' German Batteries.
Arrive, this will be our last night. On the morning, we return from 1944 with a better understanding of the teamwork bravery, and sacrifice experiences over 73 years ago. During dinner, there will be a ceremony to honor to honor those who took part in the liberation of France.
This morning is free. Departure will be at 12:00 am. For those who don't extend their trip, a shuttle will pick you up to the Paris CDG airport. For those who continue their journey with us, the shuttle will come to pick them up early in the morning toward Caen for a continuation of the travel that will lead you to Bastogne and the History of the 'Battle of the Bulge.
After breakfast our tour van will pick you up to continue the trip through Normandy. We will proceed to the area occupied by the British troops during the invasion; making a stop at Arromanches and will learn about the intrepid invention used to facilitated the creation of a port where none existed. After lunch, we will continue our way, crossing Gold, Juno, and Sword Beach. We will visit the famous Pegasus Museum.
Diner and we will stay at our Hotel at Caen.
After a good night and breakfast, we will take our morning to vist the famous Memorial Museum.
After a lunch, we will take place in our Van with our personal driver heading to Paris. About two hours and half drive.
We plan to arrive at destination in the afternoon. We will take our rooms, relax and will enjoy the Dinner.
After the last breakfast together it will be time to go back home.
After breakfast our tour van will pick you up to continue the trip through Normandy. After a lunch, we will take place in our Van with our personal driver heading to Bastogne. About 5 hours' drive.
We plane to arrive at destination around the evening. We will take our rooms and will enjoy the Dinner.
We are in Belgium this Morning, and ready to visit Bastogne and the historical places around, part of the battle of the bulge.
The Bastogne War Museum covers the Second World War, from its origins up to autumn 1944, and then focuses on the Battle of the Bulge. Key events of the war and the combatants; ordeal are reproduced here with the aim of clarifying the broad sweep of its history. The center provides a very clear picture of how the civilians lived during the occupation, during the battle itself, and afterwards. The many consequences of what was probably one of the most serious battles in world history are very clearly describe.
After lunch in Bastogne, we will visit 'le Bois Jacques' where the American 101 st Airborne held it during the winter season, up a slight rise outside Foy. Stephen Ambrose's Band of Brothers describes how Easy Company of the 2nd Battalion 506 th pir led the assault to capture the town in January 1945. We will learn more about General Mc Auliffe and the famous expression 'NUTS!!!'
Diner, we pass the night at our hotel near Bastogne.
This our last day together, After the breakfast, head up to Luxembourg not so far from Bastogne. We will arrive in this place after 2 hours and visit one of the famous US cemetery base in Europe. We will see General Patton's grave…
We will leave Luxembourg after Lunch and some visit of the Town and we will lead toward Paris for our last Ride together.
We expect to arrive in our Hotel near the Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG) airport in the evening for your last night before return to home.
After the last breakfast together it will be time to go back home.
